This university-based organization that's "building Canada's future in space" developes small satellites and flight payloads for a wide range of space research applications.  They also utilize graduate students in their endeavors, help arrange university-developed payload launches, and provide hands-on training. 

Space Camp Turkey

"As a space and science education center, Space Camp Turkey is primarily focused on motivating young people from around the world in pursuing careers in science, math and technology. Through interactive, space-related simulations, both youth and adults also learn about communication, teamwork and leadership in a dynamic, fun-filled environment." "Programs at Space Camp Turkey focus on simulators to give participants the sensations of working and living in space. We pack years of mission training into 2-Day, 5-Day and 6-Day programs." This is only facility of its kind in the Middle East and is fully-certified by the US-based Space Camp organization.

Remote Sensing/Image Analysis Lab | Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory | Columbia University

This Remote Sensing Image Analysis Laboratory, within the new award-winning Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory building at Columbia University, provides research and education facilities for studying our planet. It is sponsored by both NASA and Intel and demonstrates the important linkage between academia, industry and government in addressing our global environment challenges.

Dr. David Livingston is a business consultant, financial advisor, and strategic planner as well as interview host and creator of the pioneering space commerce-focused online production, “The Space Show”. Livingston is an accomplished personal speaker, writer and consultant in the area of future space exploration. He has lectured extensively on the topics of: business ethics and corporate responsibility for off-Earth business ventures and New Space Industries, and has written a Code of Ethics for Off-Earth Commerce. He frequently lectures on venture capital financing for new space businesses, RLVs and space tourism, effective business planning, and developing solutions to the barriers to space enterprise.

Livingston has also served as an adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Business at Golden Gate University teaching Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. He earned his BA from the University of Arizona, an MBA in International Business Management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, and his doctorate in business administration (DBA) at Golden Gate. His doctoral dissertation was titled “Outer Space Commerce: Its History and Prospects”.

California Launch Vehicle Education Initiative (CALVEIN) MAE Projects

“The CSULB-based California Launch Vehicle Education Initiative (CALVEIN) integrates engineering hands-on education with technology development for tomorrow’s low cost launch vehicles and small spacecraft and provides payload developers with flight opportunities. Technologies include advanced propulsion systems such as aerospike and LOX/methane rocket engines, low cost telemetry systems, wireless sensor applications, (and more).” This education and training program is done in collaboration with Garvey Spacecraft.
